This is funny stuff...use it or loose it...but if you loose it dont buy another. Now you have a lease payment with what, 10K miles per year use and you dont use it at all...Some people have too much money, you might be one of them. Drive the lease, you dont own it.

 

Lend the 997ttS to me.. I'll put some freakin miles on it for you....Once the tires are bald you can have it back... I think this might make you feel better..I'm willing to make this sacrifice for you because I feel bad you have so many lonely cars...

 

I'd pump the tts and find a nice early 930 as a garage queen, that can be a bitch when you need it to be.

 

if anybody is considering offering for JD's 997 TTs, all i can say is this guy is **** with his cars. i couldn't believe how CLEAN the 930 i got from him. all my car enthusiast friends say "WOW" at how well maintained the car is. it is simply pristine!

 

The comments are interesting to read. I've sold around 15 of my cars in the last year. The motivation behind this is to concentrate on my cars that I will drive and make me the happiest. The strange thing is that the TTS is the only one that gets the privilege of staying at the house. Maybe I can have "my" 930 back Anthony?!?!?!

 

hahaha! sorry but . it's nicely tucked in my garage on the other side of the world. rarely used also but definitely a big smile when i do so.

I'm a little messed up myself. I think it might the PDK is so damn good - almost too good. Even my wife comments what an easy car my 997.2 is to drive. Looking for a Canadian 993tt (much like the one I just sold!) - or maybe a 996 GT2 because I really liked my GT3 when I had it or ???...heck I like them all - no room for all of them though....needless to say no money Oh veh...

 

Not sure what I'd get next if I sell this one. Maybe a 964 3.6 Turbo or maybe even another 993 non turbo for a while? Something wrong with me...

JD I think you need to sell the abarth. Its too good. Tuned mine as well, must have 160hp or so, and its such a blast to drive!!
Get a crap 1.0 liter engine car, but no turbo... 60hp max. That will get you to drive the other cars more!!!!

I feel like selling my jeep which offers no satisfaction to drive - thank God its "hers". Came across a A6 allroad v8 which is quite an interesting car I think. I fear that getting it may reduce the limited time I spend in the TT. Which just crossed 9000 kms in my possession since Aug 2010...

 

I pulled the tuner out of the Abarth. It ran fine for 2K miles and then started throwing check engine lights all the time. Maybe I'll buy a fleet of Abarths to replace the S!
