Fish never responded.
(well, to be fair, it's only been a few hours)
But, the problem seems to have gone away. I turned on the rear fog light (!!!) and the issue went away. I'm perplexed as to why this would fix it, but the error code is gone and the light is staying on. Cautiously optimistic. (I found reference to this on another forum where a member had removed their rear lights and the error code stayed... apparently the rear fog light coming on completes the bulb check routine.) We'll see if this is actually a fix!

I emailed him about a week ago because I wanted to get a set of these. Was told they are on back order and he would put me on a wait list. He may not have any in stock to replace the defective one so that may explain the delay in responding to emails.

Please note that we are currently OUT OF STOCK on the red/clear tail light, so we have no spare part to give you replacement of. The next shipment should be arriving in 3~4 weeks. Before then, I am sorry, I really don't have any replacement part to help on this matter.

well that is unfortunate but the lights are a huge cosmetic upgrade and it sounds like he will honor the 6 month warranty, just seems like the lights are on back order. why not wait for a replacement set? unless you can source them elsewhere sooner

Have you considered the red-smoke combo on your dark car? Its really good looking. Check out a pic of Denis who installed them on his meteor turbo.
That could be a solution.
Alternatively wait for 3-4 weeks? You are getting them right? whats the point on shipping things back and forth?
