Yes a new exhaust has been on my mind
1+. I'm finding mine wickedly fast with very little sound. My 997.1 C2S would make lots of wonderful noise and go so-so fast. The TT is the opposite. Time for a Europipe.

that's a good price, you should be able to get at least $80 especially if it is a color combo that is in demand

good luck

Tom, given that you like the exhaust note of the GT3RS I have a feeling the europipe may disappoint. I think you need something louder and more badass sounding than the EP. There have to be aftermarket exhausts that can make the TT growl like the RS

Or you could choose EP2, the loud version.

Could one of you sell me your 997.1 silver or grey TT coupe in February or March 2013 to me for $68K? As an outsider looking in and taking a look at all the current models I think that Porsche 911's might be deviating away from a true race inspired car to a more grand turismo car. I think you guys have another classic in your hands.

Zeus, I love that color combo & the cab. When I step up next year, that's what I'll be looking for.

997.1 Turbo is already GT and not true race inspired car. You want race and classic - get GT2 or GT3.

I wish I could afford the GT2. I have been researching what would be the perfect sports car for my situation and went from a Z06 to a ZR1 to a GT-R then finally to a 997 Turbo. I need the all wheel drive as it rains in the Pacific Northwest for 9 of the 12 months and reliable. That ruled out he Chevy's with the rear wheel drive and the Z06 having an exhaust valve issue, and the GT-R scares me with the transmission problems. Plus no matter how you spin it I can't see myself spending $60-70K on a Nissan because in IMHO I think that once the GT-R is no longer one of the fastest cars the price will drop like a rock.

I bought mine for $76k over 2 years ago with 37k. Fully loaded with options and ceramics. I doubt you will be able to get $80 for an 07. I hope you can but I doubt it...

Good luck with your sale though!

I've been looking for a manual 997t as well but still haven't found the "right one". Want a GT2 actually but they cost a lot more and there's 5 months of snow here each year.
