Default OEM Aerokit

Hi guys few questions about the TT Aerokit:

does the lip have the same clearance as the "base" TT?
does the wing actually work or is it more "bling"?
I assume the wing is fixed?
tks

The front lip doesn't hang any lower than the standard Turbo but it comes out about 1-2" farther forward so your approach angles aren't the same, the Aerokit will have a slightly harder time making it up a tricky driveway.

The rear wing is fixed and does add additional downforce, how much so I'm not sure but I could check if you like.

What I notice is that most Turbo buyers find the Aerokit to be too much and that combined with the $5,900 option charge (or is it $6,900) are the reasons we don't see it more often. I'd say of all the Turbo Coupe's that I've seen new and used maybe 2-3% have Aerokit.

If I had a choice,I would not have got the areo kit,but I just had to have that new Black on Black Turbo S with the Turbo 2 wheels. It is,what it is .
The TTS smokes ZR1 and Gen 4 Viper.

I've painted the lower parts of the car/ got a aero lip with the -(exterior pkg painted option)-

Aero front lip/ gt side skirts / rear valence painted-

The cost aftermarket & look probably keeps most from getting the fixed wing.

I think it's awesome though on some cars it just works and if it has it so be it.

Enjoy in good health!

I think without the standard TT rear wing we'd seem more areokits. The standard wing is a good looking addition and as far as I can tell creates a sufficient amount downward force to not warrent anything else. Anybody driven these beasts at speeds fast enough to float the front end?

The aerokit produces 30% additional downforce. It's the real deal, factory, wind tunnel tested, expensive. Nothing aftermarket even comes close IMO.

A buck sixty on the back straight at watkins glen, front end was fine.
But, if you mean does the airokit actually make a difference, answer is yes at over 120 on a fast track.
