Great car and lovely pictures to look at. Thanks for posting, it's fun looking at owner cars on the other side of the globe. Super !

What about changing the steering wheel to black, cheap swap for you as your airbag is already black.
Would look nice imo.

I'm a new member here. I traded in my 997.2 today for a 997TT. Couldn't sleep properly last night in anticipation then had a very bittersweet drive to the dealership knowing it would be the last time I drove my trade in (she was my first Porsche, had her for 4 years from new). I swear I was almost in tears once I parked the car and was starting to think I'd made a terrible mistake.

Thankfully, the Turbo was the first car in the building as I walked in. Looked amazing and even better than the other times I'd seen it. Had an awesome drive home and could certainly feel a big difference in power. Definitely think I made the right decision now. Will post some pics soon.

You will never be disappointed on your decision. I drove from Ct this weekend to NJ to visit my parents. My car is 2 1/2 years old and I still drive it as if it were brand new from the dealer. What a great engineering marvel this car is. And to have the opportunity to own and drive one is more than icing on the cake.

Yes I like this global thing too. Say Denis - from your User Name, were you a 993 fantatic like I was for a while? I never pulled the trigger on one but came very close to a Silver over Red 993 cab, thus my User Name.

Joel

P.s. Sorry - not intending to steal the thread here...

Thank you all for your kind words. I'm still like a little kid at christmas
Re: The steering wheel. Hadn't thought about changing it but would for the PDK Paddle shifter wheel in black. Based on my research though seems people are having lots of trouble with the conversion in the US so might not be possible.

Re: Colour. Very good question. It's Basalt Black Metallic but I swear it looks dark blue at times and especially at a certain angle when it's in my garage.

Re: Clear markers. Good idea, although just read that you can be pulled over for not having an orange reflector. Will look into this more.

Beutiful!!! Now you can go out and invest in thousands of dollars in detailing products and equipment needed for owning a black TT!!

Maybe that's just me ....I have issues with dirt...

Enjoy that beauty... Gorgeous car and I love the interior (and the wheel caps..) Get the crested valve stem caps to match. It looks really nice... (my opinion.)

Congrats on the new baby!!!!!!

Thank you. Yes, it will be a challenge with the dust we get out here. By the way, the crested valve stem caps are already on

Sweet! I'm a big fan of Zaino products.. Great detailing sprays and all kinds of great waxes.

You might also think about an indoor Porsche car cover. That way it's stays clean after you clean it lol!

It's worth the money. Trust me on this one...

excellent, welcome aboard.
Funky black airbag you got there. Makes an interesting dual tone.
Perhaps one for Denis to consider as well (swap the black airbag to a natural tan one?)
I do hope that it doesnt mean that the original airbag was deployed!!!

I vote for black and white center caps, and a turn signal lens change form amber to white... But then again... its your baby so do as you please!
