Another vote for the Natural Carrera Red. Looks great under the silver. I too have the natural brown (guards red) and am glad I went with the higher quality leather. A 911 is a perfect place for a high-quality red interior IMO.

LP, that's so unfair. This forum section is close to dead and you have a red/nat.l.brown car and haven't posted anything about it. No pictures, no stories. Nothing. Shy ?

My soapbox time:
I wish newbie 997 turbo owners would make a small intro of car with some pictures. Before you know it we can compete with the 996 turbo forum (I wish).
Maybe they don't because turbo 997's are not yet in the hands of enthusiasts and owners only post when info is needed or required.

Just back from dealer. This is a very very clean car. Just a few scuffs on the seat backs and the silver seat belts dirty, both fixable. They were just about to take it to auction, as they're into it for $97,471 and this is what they are asking. $97,471 CND = $86,758 USD, taking into account the exchange on the dollar, duties etc... I think the price is good.
So... Took a bunch more pics, started it up - bamn!!! Very cool engine.
Will keep you posted!

Now them's fightin' words!

I guess I just don't talk about my own stuff. I read all the forums but I only occasionally chime in. There are a lot of, let's say, strong personalities and ugly debates about matters of opinion that tend to keep me from posting much.

Right now, the rear end of my 2007 TT is in various pieces in my garage while I put an FVD exhaust and headers on. I decided to take the intercoolers out and give them a good cleaning. As you may have seen in my post here, I'm replacing the O2 sensors. I also have a set of DPE wheels on the way.

I'll have to take some pics once everything is back together. Thanks for the interest.

Love it. How-to pics please. There's lots we can do with these great cars. I used to work on my 2002's a lot and did fine with occasional visit to the dealer. The 997 forum is loaded with how-to pics and sequential walk-throughs of most of the simple maintenance things. And you may be right 993S - perhaps with the number of TT's around they're filtering down into guys who like to throw wrenches.

It's looking positive Denis. We'll crunch more numbers tomorrow but with daylight getting shorter, a wholesale price, hopefully a strong PPI and DME, and a stunning low miliage TT cab what's not to like, right?

The big advantage (as you know of course) is the lack of brake dust but beside that I was happy with both systems.
And the fact that you can go much much deeper into corners... But then again I'm not as nice to my TT as Denis is...

Guess again. Clue: The 16th and his wife didn't make it through 1793.

The Teutonic beast goes in for a PPI and DME today. I'm starting to lose a bit of sleep...

WTF? Red Herring mate. I hate the 996's. look like ****- interior is crap. I love the 997 with frog lamps.

Sorry - I'm a enthusiast to the definition.

That cab is HOT! IDK how you can even bother with the conversion- you won't find a turbo that nice very often unless you go spec on to yourself.

Best dealer for cool cars- Newport Beach, CA.

Cheers- go buy that car!
