I was reading from the beginning and thought hmm... so many newer cars are boring imo where I think I generally see more unique color combinations on the 993's. (my personal sample size). Well, I think this is a great find - beautiful color combination- love the aero pkg & overall look. The interior picture looks fantastic- Pure Porsche.

congrats!

& 2 poster that gave up 2 cars for a aero blk turbo! congrats... that car sounds sick...

(missing my turbo...350 miles away...)

JD, I am looking for the same color combo TTS Coupe (maybe Dark Grey with Full Red Interior) which is the same color combo on my 2011.5 M3 Convertible.

Questions
-Can you share current insights from driving (Likes/dislikes)
-Do you like the wheels vs the Spider wheels
-If you could kindly share pricing for your car so I understand market

Thanks
GTarr

Love the red interior! My 993 had it, and I miss it (red interior).

I was looking to replace my DD 991c2s with a 997.2 GT3RS that was at my local dealer. But, after a short test drive, I went with a 997.2 TTS instead. THe GT3 is just too stiff and low to use as a DD IMHO. Especially with me driving ~20k miles per year, mostly in the metro-Atlanta area. So far, I'm loving the TTS .

Get the center locks. Gives you more of the exotic look. Easy to come on and off, if you actually know what you are doing.
You will have to invest in the proper tools of course. Expect that to be around $700 or so.

I had a quartz gray S5 cabriolet with red interior and red top and got more compliments and thumbs up from that color combo than any other car I have ever owned. I wish my meteor gray TTS had a red interior too.

I love you Walt, but I am officially cancelling your vote. Centerlocks suk, unless of course, you're willing to sell me your wrench at a very good price. Breaker bar, wrench, and guide tool will take you over $1000 today, and the wrench is a b!tch to find. I've been looking for months.
