Default 997.1 TT aftermarket power

How much HP can be extracted without doing engine work or swapping turbos on a stock 07 TT?

So far I'm thinking ECU tune and exhaust. These can potentially get it from a stock 480HP to 610HP?

Anything else?

I would say 610 without turbo modifications/change is achievable, however, you will have a spike of power as opposed to a smooth power curve. It makes the car accelerate violently at certain RPMs thus punishing the tires. This is not a good combination for this car around corners, if you just want straight line acceleration feel then this may be the way to go.

Yep also it will produce higher IATs and EGTs which in some cases that after 200kmh it will be as fast as a stock car since timing and boost is cut back to protect the engine.

550-560hp is where the turbos work at the max efficiancy and it is still running hot.. anything more on stock vtg and you will push your turbos way above the limit that you will just enjoy a spike of power that will fade off very fast...

*PS* I owned a 550hp Turbo and it was faster than some advertised 600+ hp stock vtg kits from reputable tuners..

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I do not want just a spike in power towards the end. What I'm looking for is pretty much a smooth curve much like stock, just more power.

Am I also correct is saying that based on the feedback these are achievable through exhaust and ECU tune? Again I don't want to start taking apart the engine and replacing turbos and what not.

Who are the good and reputable places to do this? Sorry for the newb questions. This is new to me as I just picked up an 07 997TT. It already came with a Techart Exhaust.

Thanks

A good question will be , how will you use the car ? Will you track it ? Are you based in the US ?

200 cell cats with the exhaust will help keep the iats down and you may want to look into larger intercooler cores as well.

APRs race tune on 100 octane is 610.
