How do these stack up to the Champion coolers? I was under the impression they flowed and worked very well....Im going to be in the market for coolers in the future and to choose the correct ones...

There will be nothing on the market like these from what I understand!

If you go for anything less than these you might as well go for the gt2 rs coolers

+1 on that. I have had many credible tuners tell me the same thing. Plus the GT2 RS IC's are very reasonably priced..

GTRNICK..

What other mods do you have on the car? Have you upgraded the VTG's? ECU tune you are running? Exhaust manifolds and exhaust system?

Thanks !

I am running an FVD/M-M catless system, FVD remap, FVD lightweight flywheel and 890nm clutch kit, Forge diverter valves, BMC panel filter, Epic Tuning Aerospace Intercoolers at the moment.

I have a set of hybrid VTG's sitting here but wanted to get the cooling sorted first.

I also have an IPD Y-Pipe, inlet plenum, turbo blankets and GT3 throttle body sitting here plus a set of EVOM's turbo intake hoses.

Also I think I will put a set of silicone intercooler hoses just for the hell of it!

Thats the power mods.

Sweet. Everything sounds great! Serious HP once you install those modded VTG's and your other goodies. Any plans for 80 lb injectors? I like FVD's exhaust very much. I haven't heard one in person but the sound clips are awesome. Make sure you're happy with the design of the hose that goes from the GT3 TB to the Y pipe. Hopefully the IPD has improved the design. The one I had blew off all the tiime at full boost. Even with aircraft clamps.. What State or country do you live in?

No need for injectors.

What did you do in the end to fix the hose issues?

Because they will get a headache from me if that happens!!!!!

I'm in the u.k./London.

That's cool because FVD is close to you. They make great stuff..

I eventaully went back to the stock TB. I got tired of dealing with it.. Look at your hose.. Does it have a raised seat on either end that couples to the the TB and the Y pipe? My hose did not seat well on the TB and therfore became a headache.. If you look at the stock hose you can see how well it's engineered. The clamps are of secondary importance because the hose seats so well.

If your IPD hose has seats for both the Y pipe and the TB you're in great shape..

Thanks for all the info.. What year and color is your car?

Good luck with your project! I assume FVD had Borg Warner modify your stock VTG's?

Cheers for the heads up on the IPD issue.

I had a company in the U.K. make the hybrids for me using a new set of turbos.

My car is GT silver/manual/2007 model.

Wow it's sweet.. I love the tail lights, the CF rear wing and the rear bumper cover.. Cant really see what wheels you have.. Are they OEM black? Just a guess that they are not stock lol!.. Are they HRE's? Beautiful car.. Those exhaust tips are excellent.. The pipes appear different sizes. are they? Are those FVD as well?
