Default FS: 997 Sport Bucket GT2 Seats, Volk TE-37 and other Goodies

Porsche 997 C2, C2S, GT3, GT2, Turbo DE Equipment Package

This is the ultimate in safety for DE. Porsche OEM seats and roll bar. Read up on why the Sport Bucket GT2 seat is the best option for the 997 platform in Excellence. Pete Stout and I had conversations before the article ran and we were in agreement that retaining the thorax airbag in the 997 was an important feature. While these seats may cost more than aftermarket, they are designed, tested, and federally approved for these cars. The roll bar is a work of art and the real beauty of this design vs. the previous 996 one is the "X" pattern. This provides a very nice open view port through the center of the car. The harnesses are positioned perfectly for the 997 Sport Bucket Seat - I would imagine it would as both were designed to work together by Porsche. The hardware and harnesses are the best option for the 997. The Harnesses have another year left in them before they "expire", so in effect I'm throwing them in no charge with the package. The Volk wheels and tires are my 2nd set. I had these in 19" and loved them so much I also got a set in 18". Great design, very lightweight, forged strong, and in excellent condition. I have dozens of photos, so feel free to PM or Email me through RennList, provide your email address, and I'll respond with additional information and photos. If somebody is interested in the whole set-up for "one stop shopping" I can work out a special package price.

Sport Bucket (GT2) Seats, Schroth Hans Harnesses, and Fire Extinguisher
BK-9032 Sub Strap Mount & FE Driver, $100
BK-9034 Sub Strap Mount Passenger, $100
Schroth Profi 2-H Harnesses, dated through 2012, List $720
BK R-2032 Fire Extinguisher Mount, $98
EXT3, 2.5 LB Red Halon Fire Extinguisher, $134.95
Porsche OEM Sport Bucket Seats in Black Leather, List $10,060.70 ($6,795 at Suncoast)

List $11,213.65 Sell at $6,200 ($5,700 seats + $500 other).

* Note: I purchased these seats 2 years ago as “take offs” from a Launch car, so when I got them they were “new” and unused. They were in my car for 2 years and about 6,000 miles. They are in excellent condition with no issues.

997 Pan Americana Roll Bar
997.580.981.00 Porsche OEM 997 “Pan Americana” X-style Roll Bar, List $1,595

List $1,595 Sell at $1,000 *SOLD*

* Note: This is the very hard to find 997 style roll bar.

Volk Track Wheels, 997.2 TPMS Sensors, and RA1 Tires
Volk TE-37 Forged 18x8.5 ET 49 / 18x11 ET 60, List $940 / $997, $3,874.00
Porsche OEM TPMS Valve Stems and Sensors, $440.00
Toyo RA-1, 245/40-18 and 305/35-18 Shaved to 5/32 with 4 gentle heat cycles, $1,366.00
M&B $149.85

List $5,829.85 Sell at $3,500

* Note: I've run with and without TPMS sensors and prefer "with". Reason being as while they aren't perfectly accurate, they do show "changes" in pressure. So every lap at a certain point I check pressures. The 997.2 sensors are much better on the track than the 997.1 were. Also,, I just sold an extra set of these RA-1 tires for $1,200 as they are hard to find.

Local Pick-up as these are large / heavy items. I will deliver within Central CT (ie: Auto Associates, Dan Jacobs, Musante Motorsports, etc.) for installation. Or, if you have a shipping method where the items are picked up, packed, and shipped, that would be fine. I just don't have the materials (boxes, packing, etc.) to ship the seats or roll bar, though I could ship the wheels / tires.

Thanks for your interest!
