The centre line of the steering wheel on my (new to me) 2010 Turbo has a line marking for center.
Is there any provision to make this line yellow?
How can I do it?
The wheel is cocoa leather, and I have the paddle shifter wheel.
I want it to be yellow so I can maybe glimpse the centre, and also so it looks cool.
Any ideas out there? I don't want to ruin the patina of the new leather, but on the other hand, if there is a leather paint or dye that works, I'd try it.

I'm going to try that and see how it looks and holds up. Maybe I can tuck the edges of tape in the groove where the leather divides.
Good to try and see if I really need it anyway. Believe it or not, I'm going to take my turbo to autocross on Sunday - normally I drive my 1999 C4, but I want to get some feel for the turbo's handling, and there is no really good way to do that that compares to autocrossing it.
I'm still not used to the paddle shifting - especially while cornering tight in first gear, so I'll see if the yellow marking might possibly help.
I hope the adhesive of the tape doesn't harm the leather - we shall see.
Here is a picture from the Porsche website of the steering wheel centre marking.

I had some yellow tape in the drawer - easy to do and easy to replace.
I have a laser cutter at the office so I'll get some measurements and cut a bunch and keep them on wax paper for re-application in the future.
Here is the before and after:

Metalman are you the same guy as on iTulip website?
The tape was from a batch of 4 or so rolls of multicoloured electrical tape. I don't know where I got it from - maybe Peavy Mart or Princess Auto, or a dollar store.
The dimensions of the laser cut I will get but it might take a while since I don't want to put my guy out at work to do this - he has other real work with the laser right now cutting small plywood parts.
But OK - once it's done, I'll post up the dimensions and an EPS file so anyone can cut it up once and know it's gonna fit perfectly.
It's trivial to do it yourself, but I'm sure I'll need to replace it often so might as well get it out of the way.
