Default 2011TTS vs modified 2008TT

Want to hear from owners!!! My 08TT cab(with giac tune and exhaust) feels alot slower than the 2011TTS.

FWIW...the 2011TTS is the fastest car I have ever driven and I have owned alot of cars including a CGT and a 599GTB.

My dd is a TTS cab. Fastest car I've ever had by a long shot.

and you, Sir have had some very fast cars

funny story, I went into my dealer to buy the TTS Cab he had on the floor but it didn't have heated seats... no kidding, every option but heated seats. I'm in Chicago, you near Toronto, heated seats are important in a Cab (at least to me)

So test drove, loved and bought a Boxster Spyder, a real sports car... great stuff. but I sure miss the GRUNT. The TTS I drove at the dealer was stupid quick. I was up to 140 on the street in a flash...yeah, do miss that... think almost every week about going back and buying that thing... but no bun warmers...

nah, the Spyder is also PDK...

I know some guys like to row, but PDK is incredible once you get used to it, and it allows your L foot to feather the brakes at the track to help with yaw control at the track.

The darn thing is just sooo intoxicating with all that FORCE available. Going back tonight to look again... it still won't have bun warmers though... jerks who speced it missed a $600 option...

Not as a practical matter. You see, Porsche makes the electrical "backbone" of the car unique to each set of specified options. Even if I bought some adaptives w/heaters there is no way to "splice" them into the system.

My DD is a '11 CTT which is no slouch and wonderfully practical vehicle; kids, dog, junk can all come for a ride and it's pretty easy to "keep up" with traffic. So all is good no matter what.

My dealer says there are only three unpunched TTS Cabs in the US and when they are gone... He says he gets calls from dealers all the time to trade but he knows it will sell and he wants to keep it local so he's not even selling to Net buyers

The Boxster Spyder is a snake, and really fast enough for anything... but I now have an SUV (though it's hard to think of it as an SUV from a performace POV) that's faster than my sports car.

One thing that gives me pause is that this version of the S is not as distinguished as say, the 993. But it sure punches as though the HP differential to the regular TT is quite a bit greater than stated in the specs. It is truly freaky quick...

If the bytch would have had bun warmers I'd have bought it in the first place. Now I'll take a $5K hit... not that something like that deters crazy guys like us anyway,

Jamie, you still into watches?

Herman I bet you can retro some heated seats into the car. Should just have to use the PIWIS to turn on the control module for it

not what I've been told but... I'll ask again IF I pull the trigger

The TT S feels BIG vs. the Spyder in almost any catagory. Truth, the Spyder is one heck of a sports car (and it has bun warmers, no big deal in TX, but Chicago it means 6 wks more fun)

TT S muey rapido vs. Spyder though. The Spyder isn't slow, it's just that the TT S is freak...

Hate these decisions...
