Default GT engine?

I am starting to research 997TT's. How can I tell if it is a 997.1 block ? Looking at an 07 . Is there any thing I should be concerned with an 07. what is the market for an 07 with 16K miles? Options that are a must?

Thanks

under 16k certified should be around 95k. if you track it and want to aggressively drive you might want rear axle diff lock otherwise for me it was sport seats, park assist, PCCB, multifuntion steering wheel. only thing it didnt have that i wanted was rear wiper. it is all about taste.

07,08 and 09 are 997.1 TT's and have the GT block.

Sport Chrono is a must. Since you have a wide range of choices now, I would also highly recommend the adaptive sport seats.

Must haves:
CPO
Sport Chrono
Adaptive Sport Seats
Rear Axle Lock (LSD)
Park Assist
PCCB's IMO aren't necessary, helpful for resale but...eh

Market for 07 w/16k mls with these options is $88k +/- $4k ish.

09 is the last year of the Mezger Block engine and dry sump....It also has the updated Nav which is much better and friendlier than the older one...CPO on these vehicles is a must IMO...

The updated PCM is great, I find it amazing Porsche didnt do it until the 2009 run.

Porsche's volume is insufficient to get the attention of Becker (who designs all the Porsche headunits).
Becker is very busy dealing with Audi and Mercedes (as well as others), so Porsche usually has to wait a bit for resources to become available.

Whether that's the case, Porsche should've realized we don't all wear helmets and track shoes to work....only on the weekends.
