Finally got around to uploading from the camera some footage of the sound. Need to figure how to edit/blurr license plates then I can post more

I have heard both and agree, AWE is great about improving product whenever possible.

Is the Gen 2 louder than the Gen 1? I understand from the postings the sound is the same as the GEN 1.

Interesting thing is that the AWE system weighs the same as stock. I know i've seen some post that it is lighter but Luis weighed them both and said there was little difference. The sound has "matured" with some miles and has a really pleasing bark to it.

It seemed a little louder but didn't hear them back to back so who knows. I do remember liking the sound of the 2nd generation better. Maybe the first gen I heard hadn't fully burned in, they do seem to get slightly louder with a little age.

I can see where this headed...first the quiet horn and now a mature exhaust
Let me rephrase it is subtle and exotic cruising around but WOT wails and barks like an pit bull when the leash breaks
A Lexus or Mercedes is mature...ok time for more spiked Egg Nog
Merry Christmas one and all

Maybe that has something to do with it, I like WOT all the time.
I still prefer the burble of your red car Mav, but I may be a little biased with that car.
