Default 2010TT Delivery Dates

Just curious what people in the U.S. have heard about delivery dates?

I talked to a dealer today about the first cars (mid to late November build) being here by the very end of 2009. Does that foot with what others have heard?

Getting anxious!

I have heard from my dealer that sometime in January sounds more feasible.

Cars are ON THE WATER right now. BUT Porsche will be holding them at port for release in January.

So don't get your hopes up for a December delivery. Check our Links page for the ship schedule if you know the ship name. We'll try to keep it updated, but Porsche wants them all delivered after a specific January date, not sooner.

Why does Porsche want to keep these cars until next year; just to be mean?

DRJMK, you're right. The time hasn't been easy. Especially with the warm fall we have had here in the North East. It'll be even tougher to finally have the car and it's sitting in the garage with a battery charger because there's two feet of snow outside. The only consolation is that I turn 50 on Jan 15th. What a birthday present that would be.

DJ-i would order some winter tires and enjoy that turbo in the snow-i have owned 3 turbos and a few c4s and enjoy driving the cars in all weather conditions. i just installed my winter tires on my turbo today. as you know, on the cold dry days, you need the traction of the winter rubber. as far as eric's prediction of a january release date, i would believe him, as he seems to always be right on target when he says something. he knows of what he speaks.
