Anybody want a tubi, 4500 new, I'll make you a sweet deal...I'm in the mood to crawl under the car again!

Chris...there's a car on Long Island with the FVD you should go see if you can...NYAMG's car...

There's a chance I'll be at Champion next week if so you can see my car too.

Good luck...in my opinion it blows the tubi out of the park

Bagger, weren't you on M5Board a few years back? Hated the E60 M5? What did you end up getting instead?
Yeah, that was me, Bones ....

Leased a '07 C4S after the M5 (which was a really great car!) ... and now, the 997 TT for 3 years. I like the TT a great deal. Very nice car.

Yes, the E60 M5 blows IMO.

Haha. Fair enough. Good to know you're consistent

Did it the other night. The system is fantasctic, fit is super easy. This was the easiest exhaust install I've ever done on a TT do to the precise, well thought out design. Those German's make good stuff!
My tubi was a fantastic system, I just wanted a slightly louder system, no drone and quad tips.
My tubis are sold btw, thanks for all the interest.
Thanks again Rhonda!

The FVD is a great system, plus Rhonda can customize it as needed.
The other exhaust I considered was the GMG.

Nice work Chris...I can't believe you wanted it quieter! I guess my ears are little numb from being a drummer all my life but I like it loud! I would actually be fine with it being a little louder to be honest!

I can't say enough about this exhaust...it's awesome.

Some very good reports coming in about a UK company producing supercar headers and systems called Kline. Getting positive reviews. Heard one of their systems on youtube sounds very nice and excellent price.

Had an AWE system on my last 997, good sound lighter than OEM, mate had a tubi on his. Considering the Kline with 200 cell cats this time though they seem to have been able to transform that Turbo bland tone back more like a N/A car.

Not sure what sort of shipping charges you would face though.

Regards

Rob.

I would love to hear more about Kline. Recently see their products on Ebay but never heard of them before. Making the Turbo sound decent is and always will be a challenge.

I had an AWE system for my last car which was a 997 C4S and it looked and sounded good and my mate put a tubi on his GT3 which I wasn't so keen on - just as well it was his!

Been researching high and low for a system that isn't exorbitantly priced and does the right things. As you say the Turbo is a difficult fix but I have actually listened to a Kline system recently on a 997TT and I really liked the sound. I have studied their website and the Turbo system and they look fabulous up close and very well priced.

A reputable tuner here in the UK fitted one recently for a customer and was apparently very impressed. Good gains too on the dyno - check out their website I'm seriously tempted. E/P good rep but twice the price.

Regards

Rob

Yeah, I am planning leaving porsche headers. 200 cell high flow cats on X pipe muffler system £1600. They are well finished with quality sound, that's a good price when you compare with other systems.
