The option may be cheap, but you also have to pay for the PDK tranny.

What model year is that quoted fer?

I've been dieing to try the shift buttons instead of the paddles.

Been thinking about visiting a Porsche dealership here in Lithuania if I could get a chance. But I think I just might take a train to Lipzig here in a few days when I get a few days off.

Anyone know whether this steering wheel can be retrofitted to a pre-facelift 997 Turbo?

should be the same price, they just don't want to admit they were wrong with those redundant buttons.

It's your car so pick what you want. My 26K miles with Tip buttons and 21K miles with shift paddles similar to Porsche on a Lexus IS350 would guide me to choose the buttons again. Why?

More intuitive. Either hand can do up or down button shifts, not right up left down to remember as with paddles. Or was it the other way around?

But if the PDK can't come with buttons, then paddles are way better than nothing but the gear selector.
