just could not do it

Late at night on the expressway off-ramps. Its no race coarse, but it gets the blood pumping. I have a planed coarse in miami beach on mcarthur causeway and parrot jungle island and one involving the I-75 to 826 north exit. If I can have an auto DD M3 and a gt3 for fun, trust me, I would, but I only want to afford one car.

With what I know now, I wouldn't buy another Turbo unless it came with adjustable suspension (which I don't believe it ever will given who Porsche market this car at).
I have new found admiration for the GT models since upgrading my Turbo's suspension!

I guess that is why they make different cars. The GT3 and the turbo are way different cars. I loved my 996GT3 which I put 60,000 miles on. The 997GT3 is an improvement. If I had both I would take the turbo on long trips and the GT3 on fun rides and track days. Since I can not have both I picked the that gives me the most enjoyment since I have the SL for long drives with the top down.

the gt3 isn't far behind on the depreciation curve.
I bought my 997 GT3 for 122 and drove it for a year and a half and sold it for 115 to a DEALER!!
The GT3 is in another league. I am looking for a 997 TT right now because of the great deals.
The TTs are 10k less than a 997 GT3 with the TT having stickers 10-20k more.
The TTs have plateaued abit lately however. for resale value the GT3 is hard to beat with ANY make or
model

As far as the GT3 and the TT are concerned the GT3 is more involving and fun to the driver. BUT having back problems and a wife that didnt like the ride I am going for a TT. It will be my 2nd TT and I have had 2 GT3s. The Gt3 is the ultimate statement for what Porsche does. The TT is a softer alternative to that and the TT is the easiest of all supercars to drive. If I was 100% healthy again my 997 GT3 would still be in my garage. We are lucky to love Porsches and have 2 choices in the same make to do the same job
2 different ways. The best thing about the GT3 is that 8400 RPMs at full song and that wonderfully connected ride. The worst thing about the GT3 is the 8400 RPMs at full song and that stiff connected
ride with the wife in the car.
