I guess so if they are good and handle your car with care. Every time I let someone non-Porsche work on my car, it seems something bad always happens, so this time the painter/installer *is* a Porsche specific shop.

The lip needs to be sanded, primed, painted, and clear coated. I paid 380 for both paint and installation -- maybe 100 high but for my peace of mind it was well worth it. The installation should not be too complicated. The fit is perfect --like stock.

Thanks again everyone for the kind comments.

Gotcha. Thanks, cannga.

Seeing that you bought your spoiler off ebay, I'm reminded that I'll have to have one shipped here, too. I am now more concerned about the "arrived damaged" potential as it appears to be an awkward piece for a shipper to handle, no?

Can... Looks really good, a big visual improvement. Now you need to balance it aerodynamically with the rear wing to keep you stable over 120mph

Napoli,
Yes shipping damage is a concern. They pack it in a huge box with foam at either end and in the middle. Just use the usual precaution: Buy from reputable dealer (Vivid Racing is one IMO.), refuse box if there is extensive external damage, etc. The thing itself is plastic like, so it doesn't look prone to breaking.
I am very pleased that my picture plays a part in anyone getting this lip! We must share the "happiness."

Tobi (That's Tobi right? Hope I spelled your name correctly.), thank you. So far balance seems to be ok up to 160 mph. Kidding kidding... I might get in trouble with the law trash-talking like this.

Another shot, after sunset:
