997TT geometry settings
Hi guys
I am trying to compile a table with everyone's geometry settings for their 997 Turbos (converted into degrees and minutes of a degree). This is what I have thus far, compiled from various sources.
Please tell me if I need to change anything or if you have more info you would like to contribute then I can add you to the table.
I am still searching for my perfect set-up. Right now my winter setting is still too jittery under hard acceleration. I will be trying Nick's set-up next I think, however it won't be for another month and by then the cold weather will probably have passed and I will want summer settings (like the stock GT3) again.

GT3/GT3RS/GT2 all have the same factory settings. Eclou is the closest to the GT2 spec, and I had pretty much the same last year before I went to a winter setup with less neg cambers. The GT3 setup feels very responsive but light steering which can be disconcerting.

Added some notes. I guessed at track use and happiness with settings from posts people have put up.
If you want to change anything please let me know and I will update table.
I am thinking of putting a lot more toe in on my front to aid grip. Here's a great site for information: http://home.scarlet.be/~be067749/58/tc/print.htm

sways med front/rear, cups. My toe is slightly less than zero f/r. I tried the ways soft fr/stiff rear, the car worked better with med f/r, actually pushed less on long hi speed tracks(glen).

I have changed your front toe Chris to be negative, and I will change the rear toe after you confirm with your shop. I don't want to be advertising rear negative toe to people if it's dangerous.

For anyone curious about my settings: The car is prepped by Tom at Lucent Motorsports in Los Angeles. Lucent for anyone not familiar is one of the most trusted names here in Southern Cal. Essentially the two simple things Tom did are increasing negative front camber to GT3 street level (more negative - same as eclou's) and changing the front toe from toe-in (positive) to very slight toe-out (negative). Tom knows I don't track, but do "exercise" the car on weekends. The change is conservative; nothing exotic.
The Turbo understeers more than any other 997's and the front toe-out setting (not REAR toe-out -- as Alex says that's dangerous) helps to rotate the car in corners (controlled throttle oversteer on exiting ). I must repeat Lucent's words of wisdom to me: For the first couple of weeks after alignment change: Never push car to its limit.
With the above settings, my Turbo now has very responsive and quick steering response. The rotation in corner is beautiful. The car "dances," and it's fun.

I am going back to Center Gravity in 2 weeks. I plan on:
1) putting back summer cambers and also looking at some extra toe in (+ve toe) as I have a more than the average Turbo power so under load my wheels will naturally toe out.
2) increase ride height as -20mm I am finding too harsh on bumpy/uneven road surfaces. I believe Bilstein min drop is -15mm so I will go to this.
3) try the soft front + stiff rear GMG sway bar settings. This should reduce understeer.
Should be an interesting day.
