Default Modified Luxury and Exotics - Feature Article - A.W.E. 750R Turbo Kit

Some of you may have already seen it, but if you have not, our 750R kit has been featured in the Nov/Dec issue of MLE.

It's an overview of the kit and what went into it's development. We are very proud of this particular article. It's well written with excellent photos.

If you don't have a subscription, or can't find it on newsstands, shoot me an email directly. We will gladly mail you a copy.

Mike@awe-tuning.com

Thanks, and have a great day.

Mike,
I have not seen the article but plan to pick one up.
Do they do any instrumented testing of the kit?

Does the name of the kit imply that all you use are these parts to give you 750 HP if so where FWHP or RWHP?

The advertised 750hp is a number extrapolated from dynoing many stock 997TT's.

We are seeing with this kit 600-608 to all four wheels on pump fuel, and 630-635 to all four wheels on race fuel.

Levino, I took this kit to the Texas Mile event and was 25 mph faster than a C6Z06 and 16 mph faster than an 08 Viper (650hp) in the standing mile.

Eugene, impressive numbers, were there any 997TT's there at the time?

No stock ones, but the EVOMS shop car was 4 mph faster than me. I ran with PSM "ON" and did not dump the clutch, which might have evened things up. The EVOMS car was also lighter with GT3 seats

Impressive, but with all that HP I'd be worried about the stock internals holding up, Gene's seems fine though.

Switzer is running over 800 at the wheels on stock internals, and Evo guesses that 800 is about the limit on the stock rods. I worried about it until I saw how many 700+ kit cars are out there trouble free
