Default kit cars....

it's not a 944T, or anything related, but most of you guys can seriously turn a wrench.... so i was wondering what you all think about this hypercar thing.... ok, it all started when Butters posted about a very impressive kit on RLOT...

Having watched another video... these guys are NOT the center of excellence.... have they developed a capable chassis? YES, are they hacks (at least the techs working in the shop)? YES..

I would expect on a car such as is presented.. they might use better tools than a pipe wrench and open end wrench for assembling AN fittings, and they kid beating the brake rotor with his hand to get it to fit on... WOW...

Shop is a mess, using a CNC mill to make wing uprights, that you then take your cordless drill to because of hole sizes?????? It is one thing for someone to be building something in the garage next to their house... but a buisness building a $40K kit minus drivetrain?

That's not funny Joka! Wife had her purse stolen with all cards, etc.... We're carrying cash around like Paris Hilton carries a purse dog.

Anyway, what's your take on the factory five GTM? Not to hijack, but we're talking kit cars, LS 951s, etc.

by all means..... first thing, as per John's video and every other one;

don't think there will ever be a videoclip w/out either the horrible soundtrack or horrid cam.

horrible sound track... check,

horrid cam... check (even stalls the car).

btw, just like with the BMW X5,

looks like they stopped (designing) when they got up towards the *** end of the car.

my choice would have been to attempt a near copy of a Ferrari 355 *** (best *** ever).

AND FWIW, I am NOT impressed with a developed platform for installing a Vette engine into....

Never have been impressed by any car with a vette engine in it, doubt I ever will be.

i was not so much against the Vette engine as i am against V8s in general installed in the back. as with the LSx engines with the 911s, you're pretty much screwed, as you need a good length of pipe to clean up the sound, but maybe an H-pipe design can help.... maybe a Viper engine or V12 from... ?

The kit Lambo is freakin hot @ 38k. The SLC kit would be fun to build, have always liked the DP look.

unfortunately, from what Butters and others have said,

the Lambo kit is apparently a scam to get you to pay at least a sizable deposit...

next, you never get to see either your money or the fake lambo kit.
