waxed white TT?
Hi Guys!
Im going be switching from an 07 Cayman S to an 08 TT w/ aero kit in carrara white.
Im a big big fan of red, especially when its nicely waxed. Ive never been a huge fan of white because of the lack of reflection/shine when waxed.
Any one wanna prove me wrong? Show me your waxed pics? Perhaps at night?
Thanks!

Yea white is a cool color and looks so good on turbos or GT2/3's but you'll never get that deep waxed shine you'll get on a Deep blue or black car. And that new Turbo Ruby Red is one of the best DEEP colors, but whites a different effect.

the white's on porsche's aren't pearl-ized are they?
if it was pearl, waxing make's em amazing looking. the white car in my avatar is pearl white, when waxed(and not wet) under typical night lighting it's beautiful.

OT - Atlas has been a revelation - it doesn't look dirty until you're 3 feet from it.
As for white, I think it'll still shine nicely when waxed. Plus you get the protection from UV and water. I have yet to see a pic - I'll look on some of the other forums to see if there is a detailed white 911.

I have a white MB that I treated with a clay bar followed by an application of Zaino polish products and it looks deep and also looks clean most of the time if it doesn't rain. White can look deep and glossy with the right polishing products. I recommend www.zainostore.com

Ive always been a fan of wax (Zymol in particular) with darker and/or metallic cars because of the really moist look you get.
Im thinking now, maybe Zaino (synthetic polymers) may be a better route for white?

I was blown away how much better the paint looked after clay barring a brand new car and then using Zaino. In spite of what others have said, you can make white POP with depth and shine. I never thought it was possible either. When I picked up my new Mercedes I thought the finish looked dull, not anymore but it's hard to tell in this photo.

yes, white pops...but you go blind waxing it. I do mine at night in the garage under the florescent lights. Even when I do it outside in the shade during the day it kills me. If you've waxed your car and its still dull, then you need to have it buffed...newer cars shouldn't have any oxidation, but older ones certainly do.
By the way....red is a good choice....white is now the most popular car color in US.
