Default Newbie saying hi...

Actually, I'm not really a newbie I have just been away from Porsche and Rennlist for a while. I owned 3 928s years ago (79 5 Spd, 87 S4 A/T, 87 S4 5 Spd) and since I sold the last one in 2001, I have been without a Porsche. I was on the rennlist 928 mailing list before the web forums existed and never really got into the web forum format back then.

Anyway, in my time away from the marque I have had 5 BMWs:

95 M3 Track car
2000 M5
2002 330i 5 Spd
2004 645Ci Coupe SMG (still have)
2006 M Roadster (still have)

At this point in my life I think I am ready to come back to Porsche and am thinking about a 997TT. I will probably be buying something within the next three months and thought I'd hang out here and see if I can soak up some of the collective wisdom of the board. Any words of wisdom are appreciated.

TIA

Jamie

Default Another sort of newbie

Hi.

I was on these forums a few years ago when I had my '03 C2S. Have just gotten back as I am back to being a Porsche owner as of last Saturday when I picked up my '08 Turbo Cab. What can I say? I love it! And I went for a Tip this time - couldn't be happier.

Cheers!

Welcome to the forum! A former bmw owner (4 of them), I am not on my 3rd Porsche. Worked my way up the Porsche food chain to my 2008 997TT which arrived in April. You will LOVE this car - it is truly amazing and will put a smile on your race every time you are behind the wheel.

welcome back and yes get one quickly before they change to the new engine block with its unknown reliability. You'll love the TT for sure.
