Unfortuately in March 07 thru June 07 when my car was ordered there wasn't a turbo for driving. The cars were all presold that arrived at my dealership and of course they werent available for demo driving.
My first drive in the TT was after I paid for it in full but I knew I wouldnt be let down.
That first drive out of the dealership was breathtaking.
After driving a 993 and 996 since 1995 I was really amazed of the power of the 997 turbo.
I was never impressed with the 993s 270 HP, the 996s 320 hp was good but nothing like the TT.
This car by far is the best car I ve ever owned and when the next generation turbos come out I will be first in line at my dealership. Cant wait.

Cabman - I love your red Turbo... so nasty.
Considering my drive was very limited (20 min or so), plus it was a cab, I can only imagine when it's MY Turbo I'm driving.
I am getting ready to finalize my order - any opinions on Euro delivery? I think a new Turbo and German roads would be fantastic, but I don't know if it's worth the $$ (figuring $6-7K minimum for the trip).

I thought I read that the 'ring stopped admitting cars with tourist delivery plates. I concur, that the $4k+ Euro delivery is not worth it. Unless you have time and money to burn. And don't mid paying $300 for a $200 hotel, just because the Euro is so high.

Thanks
Guards Red has always been my favorite color.
Make sure you have a V1 when you drive it because the police like RED too and it could be costly if you arent prudent!! lol
