Default Entering parking lots

I've been using my -07 turbo as a daily driver since July. Great car but two perplexing annoyances:

1) Lack of exhaust sound - I guess I can take care of this.

2) Entering parking lots - Living in Florida, we have these depressions along the entrance to just about every parking lot. No matter how slow I go or the angle to the road, at least 50 percent of the time, something bottoms. Saturday, I found that the left front inner wheel well (its plastic) must have finally cracked off and left a souvenir with a 997 part number at some big box store. New part on order but I probably should have asked for a group discount. Speaking to the parts department, he said this was no surprise.

Exhaust is easy, I rec fabspeed or tubi, but there are many others.
The driveways are another matter, good thing the lips are easy to replace.

May be interested in the exhaust but not just now. If you still have it in 2 - 3 months, get in touch or post something.

Big problem now is how to protect the front spoiler and the two (left & right) wheel well panels while going to the store. Come to think of it, another problem is airplanes owned by the Florida Highway Patrol timing the car.

I have a lowered 997S. I have found that if I put my PASM in "Sport" mode before I go up or down a curb, the car travels a shorter vertical distance than if it is in "Normal" mode and therefore does not bottom out at very slow speeds.

I am just learning about the 997 turbo, so I am not sure if your (or all) turbo has PASM. If you do, try it.

Paint it asphault grey and put a yellow stripe down the center of it. (Handles the aerial threat).

Put a front protective piece on it -- made of ABS and available from Performance Products. Do a search on the 997 forum for what I did and how it looks.
