i have always put snows on my awd 911 cars and drove them-i do the same with my 997tt. i use pirelli snows and the car does well. somewhere i read that the awd system in the 996tt was better suited for use in snow, for what reason? anyone else read that. i agree with chris though, the car is pretty impressive in snow. i take my turbo to work every day-the only thing that would make me take my cayenne is if i hear that there will be a chance of flooding or real heavy snow, otherwise i let the awd system do it's job.

What size Pirellis do you have on there????

295/30/19s or did you go to 18" winter rims?
