Default speedART products on Black 997 Turbo Cab

Here are shots from the first cab speedART received in Germany. This is shown with the speedART BTR front lip spoiler and rearwing made from 100% carbon fiber.

Its looks really nice in person too. It follows the lines and angles of the body and the taillights. Here are the shots both up and down.

and a top shot to show the carbon.

I don't like the front chin spoiler, it looks add on. Could you imagine how obvious it would look on a light color car.... I do like the wing though, aggressive but tasteful.

Yeah, the black cab is missing some of the components that tie everything together. Here are pictures of the front and sides together. These add-ons are called the "BTR" aero kit. The "BTR" is the add-on and is more reserved that the BTR-XL.

When you see it from the side, the curve of the sideskirt matches the curve in the vent and then tapers up to the rear bumper line.

It looks good man. One question though - why would they use the old style (996) weave instead of the newer box weave pattern of the 997?

Or maybe it's the angle of the shot, but the closeup on the wing appears to show the diagonal weave of the 996 carbon. Just wondering...

Thanks for the pics. Stuff does look damn nice.

Hey Eric, I spoke with the owner of speedART today and asked about the different versions of the weave. He was not sure of the exact difference you are referring to but said that there are different versions, especially in weave sizes depending on the applications (race/street) and complexity of the design. They have been using one particular company after trying a few and they make the wing using the carbon shown.

I was asked to post some shots of the profile and rear so here they are (tracked them down off another forum, this is actually the owner of speedART's old car he sold to a guy who pahotographed it nicely)
