Just got back myself, it's been a long time since I ran down a drag strip. Lots of fun!
The first 2 passes I let out to early to make the second turn around, only got to 117 and 127. The last pass I ran 133 in 11 seconds, shifting into 5th killed my ET.

I got there and met Doug. Very nice car and it seems your car was making better time. It hustled. Gene I think I saw you pass me on the other side of I-10. Wife was not pleased I took the kids to a race track.
If I didn't have the kids I would have like to have embarrassed myself in the M5.

7.7 was the Race file. There is a thread on 6spd where the EVO690 (larger VTG's) kit did 7.79 in 49F weather (ESu's car in Finland). I'm still on the stock VTG's, stock IC's, stock exhaust manifolds

That doesn't seem right because the EVO 700 car at the TX mile was certainly faster than mine (187 vs 178 at the mile) which is significant and I would have expected a better 60-130 from that car.

I think for the EVOMS published times you have to consider that they were in heat, and at 1000ft altitude. I am sure their run at the Mile was probably better than what they have on their website.
My previous recorded best was 8.4 seconds in 90F weather and a slipping clutch. Today the run was with the new AWE stage II Sachs clutch, AWE exhaust, AWE/GIAC ecu "Race" program, BMC airfilter, PES ltw 19" wheels with MPSC tires, 99 octane blended fuel at 2/3 tank. Only driver no passenger, no weight reduction tricks otherwise, and stock VTG turbos, manifolds, intercoolers.
Here is the 1 shift run:
Now the 2-shift run
Notice I am not powershifting at all. As a matter of fact,at 300ms my shifts just suck!!

how do you like the new clutch? I am thinking of upgrading mine and getting the turbos done as well, is the drivability the same as before?

The new clutch is indistinguishable from stock as far as drivability. I cannot perceive any difference at all, except it puts the power down very well. The effort, take-up, lack of noise - all same as stock.
