Default Dent repair access on top of rear fender?

I think this was discussed awhile back but.......it's pretty easy to get minor depressions (not really 'dents') on the top of ea. rear fender. It's a tough spot to get at for paintless dent repair. I first tried from the rear tail light....also the intercooler duct.
What's the answer?
I had it up on the hoist w/rear wheels off........thought pulling the wheel well shoud would not be biggy.......shop quoted me over $400. just for disassemble-reassemble time (not counting my paintless dent guy)....this was for both sides.

Golly, is it that tought to get at this spot?.....I know the intercooler piece pretty well hugs the skin & that doesn't help. Any comments welcome.....TIA.

I think you can get to that by removal of the interior panels. Most of them just snap into place. Check it out in the shop manual first.

I just remember when I did the tequipment roll bar on my 996, we had all the panels out. I think it may be do-able.

I had that same dent on my 996 c4s, they take out the inner wheelwell. On my 997TT, they accessed that spot via the air intake, worked great.

A walk by and hand slam, 2 seconds is all it takes .IMHO I think your crazy driving that car into the city, you see patients all day and your car sits as prey.Get a cheap GREEN dd and enjoy the p for evening and weekend fun/tracking.I shouldn't be so bold to say green since my dd is a STI, but get a dd for city use if your practice is in Manhattan.

On the 996TT there's no way to get to it from here.

I guess they were on a crack break when your porsche got slammed, throw them a few more bucks and they will smoke next to your car. Just f**king with you, but it gets under my skin when we work so hard for what we have and some piece of worthless sh*t tries to destroy it.
