That's a $10K premium over the new $126,210 MSRP, but you have to take off the value of those options.

Terry, they caught the mistake - it was orginally listed at 1.36 million dollars and change.

They didn't list the PCCB option for the one picture in blue/nat. brown being shown? An 8K option not on the 138K price?

I hope Porsche does not let the same absurd premium that developed on the GT3 RS come to TTs. So much ill will generated by flippers and dealers both. If it starts, I wish Porsche would just crank up the line and laugh all the way to the bank. I don't want a rare car, just a beast I can start putting the miles on.

Indeed, these cars should be ending up in the hands of enthusiasts, not like Ferrari, which has propagated such extreme market conditions so that most of their cars end up undriven in the hands of noveau riche poseurs and collectors.

No, but there is a tendency for some dealers of any brand of vehicle to do so during a period of shortage. It is the perverse interpretation of the S (Suggested) in MSRP.

terry-i agree-but doc G started this thread as if chambers was gouging, and in this situation, he seems to be charging no more than list.

I agree, and that's why I added "you have to take off the value of those options", meaning I think you are back to MSRP or thereabouts.

Actually, I started this thread because they had made a mistake when they originally posted the price at $1,362,021 on their website - not because I really believed they were charging that price. They caught their mistake shortly after Chris had posted his reply. If I knew how to screen capture I would have posted the listing as it the was originally.

Should be by June of '08. I took the last allocation for a turbo coupe from Bill - April '08.
