Not enough difference between Slate and Meteor to justify the premium IMO. It's your money, do as you wish, it's all good. Personally, I think Meteor looks the best.

I feel I can't go wrong with any of them - one of my concerns is that my last TT was seal gray, and I just want it to be a little different - the meteor to me just looks closest to the seal gray, at least to my naked eyes without them side by side - the problem was that on saturday, it had rained earlier and the cars had a dried film on them from it - of course it did most injustice to the darkest color, the basalt - I may try to go back this weekend and makes sure they have one of each clean

OK, now I have a slate gray car I am seriously looking at and is available, but in all the pics I have it also looks very close to seal gray - anyone seen the two of them next to each other or have any input on how different they are or are not? TIA

I guess I can always count on you to be helpful! - thanks - my problem is I live so far away from dealerships that when a car becomes available, I do not have the opportunity to go in and look at the colors - I was there a few weeks ago but kind of forgot exactly what they looked like in person already

The 3 pictures Jason posted earlier, with the Slate, Meteor, and Atlas, are the most truthful color reproduction/comparison that I've seen, assuming that your monitor is color calibrated.
As Jason said, slate has a definite brownish tint to it, and meteor is very close to seal, with maybe a very slight tint of brown (nothing like slate though). I think however that as far as "darkness," it's the Atlas that is much darker. i.e. IMHO slate and seal are similar in "darkness."

Chris that was my second choice in color (slate grey), my first is GT silver and I know you wanted to go for something different for your turbo. Slate is not too dark, not too light, I thought long and hard about going that route too. I did not get the PCCB's because I prefer red calipers on my GT Silver but PCCB's look great with Slate! Oh yes and then there was the cost. Maybe next time around?

Hi everyone, anyone sitting here?
From the UK and I've just bought a 997TT in Atlas, and not even seen it yet!!
Anyone got a pic of a Turbo in Atlas? Dealer being slow in emailing some to me.
Thanks
Bob
