It does seem like a typical 7/10 DE session. Exhaust sounded nice.

Default Not 100%

I agree, the driving seemed a little soft, but the car still did well.

At that pace, anything does "well". No putdown on the car, but there isn't much to be learned from the video. The driver hand movements are so slow that it is apparant there are no corrections, so he isn't pushing the envelope at all. AS

Is that a stock or aftermarket exhaust?

One could argue that you should not exceed 7/10ths at any DE, especially in the lower (instructed) run groups and especially when driving a car not equipped for the track (cage, H&N restraint, seats/harnesses, fire suppression system, electrical cut off, etc).

Re not exceeding 7/10ths at a DE: That doesn't seem right to me. I don't think one should go over 7/10ths on the street, but the purpose of driving on track is to explore the limits of the car. To me, track driving is more than fast driving, it is approaching race driving. Having said that, 7/10ths is the car limit, not the driver limit. Clearly 10/10ths for some drivers is 7/10ths for others.
Not to belabor the point, it just seems to me the driver in the video is just driving quickly, but not really pushing the cornering limits of the car. Doesn't say anything about the car.
To be truely meaningful, you would need another car for reference, that is also being driven well- a 996tt, GT2, ZO6, Ferrari etc. Otherwise, there is no reference by which to judge the car's relative performance- unless you post a time on a known track with the times of other cars. AS
