Default The wait is killing me...

It's being built 12/22.
It's all I can think about.
It's making me nuts.
I stare at the empty spot in my garage.
I read and re-read the brochure.
It's making me nuts.
I spend too much time on rennlist, 6speedonline and rennteam.
I pass the dealership on my way home from work every day and nearly have an accident while I stare at all the shiny new cars on display that are not mine.
It's making me nuts...........It's making me nuts.

I know. BTDT. But just think how the anticipation will increase your giddiness when you take delivery. You'll be sane again. If only for a moment.

Savor the wait, enjoy the thrill when you drive it off the lot, and drive it long time in good health.

My black/black TT arrived at the dealership Saturday. Unfortunately it is at an out of state dealership and I don't get the car for another week. I can't wait to compare it to my new GT3. When I get it I will post a picture of both cars plus my 04 TT cab.

Dude, I feel your pain, mine doesn't come until April!
The wait is worth it, you worked your *** off to buy a car like that, you earned it, enjoy every second of it!!
F anybody who sees it as a frivilous purchase, ' let them eat cake'!

I do look forward to a brief stint of sanity...
I am trying to savor the wait but it's totally maddening.
I drove by the dealer again this morning...and again nearly had an accident!

Man...the car is in and you are still waiting...I think I would definitely need meds at that point!

I can't wait to see the pics and the review.

April! That's rough. You are right...I have worked my *** off and intend to enjoy every second. Plus I totally agree about F everybody as well!!

From what I remember you live in Long Island...when the car comes in you are welcome to come for a visit and give it a drive...hopefully that will help ease the pain. I live in Bergen County...

Hang in there guys, the wait was killing me prior to me having taken delivery just over a month ago. Trust me guys, it was WORTH the wait! Consider yourself lucky that you have a "fun" vehicle to keep you going in the meantime. I sold mine 6 months beforehand and was toting around in a SUV until then. Now that was tough! Before you know it, your car will have been built and then the real wait will have begun for you! Same goes with the rest of you guys waiting for yours as well.

Bless this forum. 12 years ago I waited 10 months for mine, didn't even know what it would look like for 4 months and no one I knew would sympathize with my jones.

A nice diversion is to prepare your garage space - tile or paint the floor, clean out some space for nicer work cabinets, etc

911/Q45...it is nice having an outlet for my obsession!

Eclou-the garage floor is already painted and cabinets up! I even have a water line in there so I can wash it in the winter. Maybe I'll add a heater! That should keep me a little busy...THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!
