Michelin Pilot Sport Cup VS Pirelli Corsa tyres
Should I wait for Pirelli to release the rear turbo size or take the Michelin PScup first?

997HTG - I huave used both tires in 18 inch sizes extensively. On a dry track the Cup is superior. If it is damp the Corsa is better. If you expect rainy days, or drive home on your track tires then the Corsa is a good compromise.

The Corsa also lasts longer, about 40 heat cycles compared to about 25 on the Cup (on my GT3 and home track).

I would compare the Corsa more to a Toyo RA1 which is also more versatile than the Michelin Cup.

best,

My take on the two tires is similar to what Bob experienced, the MPSC had slightly better dry "stick" but the Corsas wore much better. Plus the Corsas are a little cheaper than the Sport Cups, but they are unidirectional so if your track is biased one way or another you will see some different wear. The Sport cups can be flipped from side to side to extend their wear a bit. Regardless they are both first class R compounds for DE use.
