how does the dealer know at this time that they have a 6/07 allocation-isn't it too early?

 

No, Porsche asked all the dealers to assign allocations thru 6/07 prior to the '08 MY. The key elements are color and transmission. I did the same thing last week for a April build car(ACPORD) to have it when my lease changes over, FWIW I got the last dealer allocation spot at my place for a April'07 ( they had 1of 2 left) build. So, no it's not too early.

Doug, sounds great I would also get the heated seats. BTW, sport shifter is now a Dealer install option.

 

Don't need heated seats in Texas IMO, we have enough heat as it is already!

No wiper.
First mod will be the short shifter then perhaps a Fabspeed exhaust if it's really too quiet. Then track wheels, then... Oh crap here we go again!
