Official Porsche Indoor Cover ...Photos
Well, I thought I'd change it up a bit and start a positive thread about an accessory for your car. Thanks to the Auto Gallery in Woodland Hills, CA, I was able to secure an "official" 997TT indoor dust cover for my car. The cover is beautifully made (for indoor use only) and the side that touches the car is smooth and very soft.
Thought I'd share this with you in case you'd like to buy one:

IIRC, there have been group buys from Carnewal in the past for this cover.

This is the exact quote I received from Carnewal for either a similar cover, or the same, if this is where Porsche has them manufactured. Gert's description sounds exactly like the cover I purchased from the local Porsche dealer. Turns out to be about $350 US and a fairly long lead time:
"We have our car covers made by Confezzione Andrea in Italy. They are the official supplier of Ferrari covers. Each cover has a Porsche logo on the hood and comes in a sporty bag. The outside layer is a synthetic material while the inner layer is felt. The car cover for the 997TT is 275 Euro shipping to the US included. We don't have any of these covers in stock and it takes 5-8 weeks to order. Shipping to the US usually takes 2-3 days."

Thanks, but those cabinets are the standard issue grey 1/16th laminated melamine fiber board type. It's their least fancy grade. I just wanted something clean and simple...

Thanks, it was "Garage Envy" out of Pasadena, CA. It is a small franchise here in Socal. Here's a link to their website:

The inside is a very soft felt material, very different from the outside.
