My first Porsche was a used 1992 928 GTS which I bought at 20 (ah, the memories...). Several forgettable cars later, I got a 2006 997 C2S Cab at the age of 27. I'm turning 28 next week and my 997TT is arriving next month!

The 997TT will be the longest I've waited for any car to arrive (6 months). The wait is killing me!

26 yrs old -1990 C2 cabriolet (guards red) -this was in 1999 (I put at least 60k+ miles in 3 yrs)
31 yrs old -1997 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta (put 25k miles on it in 1.5 yrs)
32 yrs old -1996 993 C4S -PROTOTECH twin turbo conversion (had it 3 months -this car was scary fast)
33 yrs old -2005 Lamborghini Gallardo (new -drove it 15k miles in 1 year)
34 yrs old -1996 RUF 993tt (just bought it 2 days ago...)

I will say you cannot beat the overall value, performance, low maintanace cost, visual pleasure of a Porsche. I will admire the other "super cars" -but will probably never buy one again...

I looked at a 2007 997tt today... I think I will add on of those to the collection soon...

I've had an '83 944 as daily driver, when I was 18
Now, at the age of 21, besides my Volvo, I have a 911 Turbo S (1987)
I will first finish school before buying another Porsche

1st - '99 986 at 23 (still have her with almost 160k on the clock NEVER 4 SALE!!!!)

I bought my second Pcar, a '76 911s while in grad school at age 27 (I actually used the $$$ I had been saving for my girlfriend's engagement ring...after we broke up, I "consoled" myself with the car!!! Best decision I EVER made!!! The look on her face when she asked me what I did with the ring & I pointed to the shiny black 911 on the street was priceless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Third at 28 - '88 930 (Still have her & will never part with her!!!!)

Fourth 29 - '83 Euro 944 (sold).

Considered a 997tt, but used the money to start my own business instead. Keep telling myself if the gamble pays off, I will buy myself 2!!! - Oh, I am 29
