I wouldn't lump all the 996 cabrios in the same category.

The 996 C4S is 20% more ridge than it's predecessor. It even seems more ridged than my 2001 996 Coupe.

THis month's Excellence has an article on the Targa. But what arrested me was they quoted that (in the 997 at least) that the coupe was 4 (yes, FOUR) times stiffer than the Cab.

Having owned a C4S Cab and a TT Coupe I can tell you that it is not even close, but 4X...Wow!
