Default Possible MAF sensor issue after driving through freshly laid oil. Thoughts?

Had to make an emergency stop at eye doc, then pharmacy.
By the time I came out, oil was already laid on my side, and reversing to turn around would have put me on the other side. Which also had freshly laid oil. So I drove on, clean up later.
Dash lights came on. Did multiple engine restarts hoping it would clear. First PTM, then PSAM once each, finally only check engine.
Kept restarting to see if CEL would clear. Distance on oil 150 yards. To get home < 5 miles.
By the time I got home, total 5 miles, CEL cleared.
My theory: MAF got overloaded with fumes from the freshly laid oil. Thinking it was running too rich.

The CEL has registered.. I would find a device to read the CEL that is stored and you will have your answer.
You are guessing the MAF, but it could be O2 sensors. A faulty wheel speed sensor will produce all the warning that you have mentioned.

Terry, in Eagle? I ran into the same thing about 12:45pm on Old State yesterday. No CEL for me but the oil was just laid down and I was worried. I checked when I got home for undertray and wheel wells, but everything looked pretty clean because we were barely moving. If you need a reader, I have several Porsche specific....that is if you are located in Eagle.

Kind offer nelson. Was indeed on Old State near Second. I already have the appointment request in to the local dealer.

Just go into your local parts house. They will usually read the codes for free..
