Actually, I’m so happy with the product that I’m about to place an order for the tail lights and side markers too (even though I had no intentions of switching out my rear tails. I just think it would look like a more uniform update to car).
The problem I’m running into is finding a matching set of DRL’s and fog lights. The fog light research I’ve done has taken me down so many rabbit holes that I think it’s best to abandon that idea altogether. Maybe someone will come out with a plug & play at some point and maybe I can revisit the idea at that point.
As far as DRL’s, I have to do that now… The styles I seem to like are for a 997.1 Carrera, but not a Turbo. The ones that are for a Turbo, have designs I don’t necessarily care for, especially at $500+++.
I don’t know what the answer is, but I have a bunch of different unrelated parts coming in, so I would like to get everything installed in one shot.
Any ideas?

Notice the DRL’s and fogs with a warm and dated color compared to the New LED Morimoto’s.
I purchased LED bulbs that were plug and play for the DRL and the fog lights and the combo looks great.. I hate the yellow halogen look. The fog light bulb is not super bright which is the sacrifice, but the color looks great and on point. I don't use the fogs for the light output so it's not an issue for me.. Bought them years ago, I'll see if I can find the brand/company for them.. It was separate companies who I bought the bulbs from for the DRL and fogs..

These headlights are an amazing product! Quality throughout! Unfortunately the control box mine came with had issues and did not work like it was supposed to and I could not locate the optional DRL harness to connect the DRL lighting to the fusebox but the support staff were awesome and sent me one. Based on my experience I have to say for those still on the fence getting these to jump in and get them. You can't go wrong getting these headlights and the light output are awesome! Here are a few pictures of my Morimoto XB LED headlights installed on my Porsche. I have a friend helping as I took these pictures.

Update: the tail lights look excellent! Matches the modern look of the front Morimoto’s. I did purchase Ziza bulbs for the fogs and Morimoto side markers, neither of which are installed yet. Here’s a couple of updated pictures.

air b&b garage after driving the car to AZ to have the front wheels shaved since they had a bit more poke than I liked…

I contacted Morimoto and they acknowledged the control box that was shipped in my kit was defected and sent me a new DRL wiring harness to connect to my fuse box free of charge. All I can say is exceptional product and service! I have since installed the DRL wiring harness and made connections to my DRL harness and fuse box and everything works as advertised. No issues. Very happy with this setup!

anyone change from adaptive headlights to these? not sure about brightness, as i don't drive much at night, but i much prefer the dual projector lens look on the oe adaptive. plus, i don't think the morimotos swivel around turns, correct?

While we're asking questions - what temperature are the lights?

OE seem warm vs many cold (blue) new headlights . . .
