pdk 1st-->2nd lag fix?

pdk 1st-->2nd lag fix?
others with a .2tts pdk have same experience? in manual mode using the paddles, the shift into 2nd is very noticeabley slow. the needle passes maybe close to 1k before actually shifting. and this is in sport!
every upshift thereafter is instantaneous, along with that pleasing smooth bump sound in the transmission and exhaust.
can anything be done about that 1st-->2nd slog?

Supposedly a TCU tune can improve, not a Cobb style tune but rather one where the TCU itself is removed and re-flashed. But there are only a couple places in Europe that do this.
I found under full throttle acceleration that if I don’t hit the paddle by 5K in the first gear, it will be on the limiter before the shift occurs. This is in sport plus. The console shifter does seem to be quite a bit quicker.

I went with a Cobb PDK Remap and i must say its very very close now to a 991 !
Before it was horrible .
My dad drove my car and i said nothing he only said what have you done to the transmission its a lot better now . 100 %independent opinion
After the Flash you must do a PDK Relearn this change a lot !!!

Or buy my Cobb AP with PDK files and enjoy even quicker. 😉
look up my post on how much better the shifting was when I had my 997.2T with PDK files from Cobb. I was on the “aggressive” map and it was glorious.

ha... already have the ap, just need to pay/download the pdk flash file if i decide to go that way.
