True, but based on feedback might be a good idea to have it done regardless.

Logged the deviation and bank 2 is off roughly 3 degrees.

Just to update, ended up using Charlie at Innovative Autosports in Carrollton. (Awesome shop by the way thanks for the referral) Other shops didn’t want to take on the job.

They did some diagnostics and determined it was the bank 2 actuator. Went to pick it up today and CEL immediately came on as I was leaving. After rechecking the deviations bank 2 was way off. Car is staying to double check the new actuator didn’t fail. If it’s good then cams are coming out.

car is a 2008 and just turned 30k miles for reference.
