Hydraulic cylinder

Has anyone rebuilt the convertible hydraulic top cylinder for a 997 2009 turbo? Thanks

Are they the same for a 996? If so I used the oring rebuild kit. The trick is getting the oring over the end of the cylinder without damaging it.

I replaced mine with rebuilt cylinders. There's a guy on Youtube who rebuilds them, as well as a company in FL, so it seems likely that it is possible if you know what to do.
