Default My "new" 997.2 Turbo S

I'm considering the DSC also after reading the comments on it. Just got the 2011 997.2 Turbo S in August and LOVE it! I came from an 2007 997.1 Turbo Tiptronic. Both are low mileage cars. It seems to me that the ride in the 2007 was less harsh than in the 2011. It appears that the DSC would improve overall driveability. I don't do any track stuff. Would like to get any recommendations. Thanks.

My recommendation is in the post above.

It 100% smooths out the daily ride on rougher roads.

Yes for me most instantly obvious change was the increased ride comfort by lessening harsh jolts like over expansion joints or cracks in the pavement.

Your story had me hitting the scroll slide but I get the gig...your TTS car is beautiful and was very well bought, Congrats, the 997.2 TTS is one of the best 911's ever made. Fyi, I almost bought a pristine white 2012 TT 6MT for $195K earlier this year (they are very rare as everyone went PDK that year and nobody knew that would be the last 6 MT Turbo car) but in the end decided if I was considering spending real money that the only two cars I really valued enough were the 2012 GT2 RS and the 991.2 GT2 RS of which I fell in love with my GR 2019 GT RS and went that route. Enjoy your TTS, she is gorgeous

I know the car you're talking about, and there's no way it's worth $195k. In the end it's still a 997.2 Turbo Manual and even though they are rare, there is a lot of car you can buy for $195k that is a better driving experience, IMO.

Thanks, I'm loving my car and although it's not perfect, it's a damn good 911!
