Default 997.1 Turbo PCCB brake pad help

Trying to help a friend out here and looking for some sage advice. My friend has a 2007 997.1 Turbo with PCCB. Can this 997,1 turbo with PCCB use any 997 PCCB brake pads? We noticed there is a down charge if you choose the 997.2 pads? Does anyone know why? The 997.1 part ends in.2 and 997.2 part in .1?

Interesting, I thought the PCCB calipers were the same between .1 and .2 turbo models.

I just bought a set of pccb pads for a 997.2 TTS. Front pads were $374 at Delaware Porsche Parts and rears were $422. PAGID P40-3 as mentioned in the service doc WM 463520.
My front calipers do not need to be removed to change the front pads. Does the 997.1? if so, there could be a minor variation?
