Never have needed to add oil with spirited driving. 2010 TT MT.

I used to think the combination of the Mezger engine with the PDK would be ideal.. Wasn't aware that engine drinks oil though 1 quart every 5k miles is fairly low.

Thank you Carlos4s and Cyclrder for sharing your experience. It seems the mk2 engine hardly consumes oil if at all. I'm not tracking the car so now I'd be worried to see my oil gauge go down.

I have driven 3000 miles since last December and the oil still shows full. 2012 TTS w/PDK and it now has 31,000 miles on it.

3000+mi of driving my 2011 TT S like I stole it (33k mi), dialing in meth and tune, awful gas mileage haha.
Oil level hasn't budged, still right at full. Agreed YMMV.

Same here with my 2010 6MT Cobb Stage 2 TT - have 70K with 44K since I collected it 3 years ago and no oil added ever.
