OHLINS -which way is stiffening
I have installed the OHLINS R&T on my 20017 997.1 Turbo. I want to know how to stiffen the front and the rear’s. Does clockwise turning make it stiffer or the counter clockwise? I also find the supplied springs soft. The car is bottoming at high speeds bumps/dips. What are the supplied spring rates? Can I upgrade to stiffer springs?

typically counter clockwise stiffens the struts. as for spring rates i think its close to 400 front 600 rear and yes you can prder different springs but that may affect the ride since your valving will be set to the springs supplied

Clockwise closes the valves and stiffens or slows down the response.
i used stiffer springs on the rt on my rs. 550 front 700 rear iirc. Front i ran full closed then 2-3 clicks open. Fears fully closed then 7-8 open. Going off memory here.

This is what I believe too.. just need to be very sure. I am planning to use 550 in the front and 900 for the rear.

@Spyerx I have used these on my Bilstein B16 Damptronics in place of the original that came with the Bilstein's. Worked great. No bottoming out ever. Hence was thinking of replacing them on the OHLINS. Good suggestion. I will enquire with OHLINS before i order the springs.. Thanks

are you tracking the car with aggressive (ie very sticky) tires?
When I ran the R&T on my RS, with a 550 front, I was at the limit of the valving and had it nearly fully closed. For street it wouldn't be an issue.
I would just check and make sure you aren't going to over-spring the dampers. I forget what spring rates they come with stock.
Also, every setup person has their preference, but most here in the US seem to prefer about a 200lb split front/rear. That can vary and you do have a Turbo... which is a lot of power compared to my gt3
