Default Need Serious Help, 997tt been down for a month!

I have some serious tranny issues. I am desperately looking for a part. It is the shifter sleeve, part number 997-304-081-50. Porsche is not making it anymore as they are looking for a new producer for it. It could be a year before I get one from the factory. So pissed. Can anyone hook me up or point me in the right direction? Oh yeah, one other thing, supposedly there is an Audi match for it too, but I can not cross reference the number.

ECS lists it on their web page - not sure if it's in stock: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...e/99730408150/

Since it says 4 business days on the ECS site, they are most likely getting it from a parts supplier so if it isn't being made anymore then you probably won't be able to get it. It is pretty common where you go to order something and then they will tell you they can't get it for you.

Called both last week. Don't have it, can't get it and not sure when they will be able to.

If all that is the case, you could have someone make the part. We could probably make it on our 5 axis, but it would not be cheap with all those splines.

Is this part internal to the tranny? Any chance you could find a used one from a wrecked car?

and or Brian Copans BM&G he might have the part.
If they don't, you might need to buy a used 997TT tranny/ and 996TT box would also work.
I wonder if Porsche has a reman exchange gearbox?

Just picked up my steering wheel module from there for my updated steering wheel last week. Cool place with tons of 911’s there. Although they only had 2 997 TT’s while they have tons of parts, I’d give them a call
