Default Nice one on BaT

GT Silver / black, 16k miles, 6MT, nice condition. No sport chrono though. Will be interesting to see what it goes for (BaT can be all over the place though).

Very clean example. Underside even looks pristine.

The electrical tape on the switches and other plastic parts is interesting. Anyone else do this to avoid interior wear and scratches?

Early production 06 model year of manufacturing. AC ***** were corrected beginning 07 production. More than likely will have the coolant glue issue within the coolant housing. Run and run fast.

I thought about that too. When did they start building the 997TTs? April 2006 production has to be one of the very early ones.

Very nice car regardless. I love the GT Silver!

I dont think it was prevention. It looks pretty worn. But, an easy fix.

I have an early 06 production. Not that it matters to me but dont have any coolant issue yet.

Unless exterior is in excellent condition and clutch is still good, this is a good car to get IMO.

AC ***** easy to DIY.

Looks great. Not far from me either. Something tells me I have been to that storage facility too.... nice Porsche shop there. I think the PCA guys use it as their clubhouse.

I would do a massive PPI! Concentration on the coolant system!

You smell coolant? Almost 80% have the smell but no leak.

If it sells for 75k I will be surprised. Many better, faster, more modern cars for 20k more. Let alone all the forthcoming issues. Ain’t got time for dat.

This is good to know, I get slight whiff of coolant sometimes but there is no leak. I have already had the motor out and pipes pinned, etc.
